We got a surprised hawk sighting(we actually didn’t know at first, until one of our viewers told us it was a hawk) during our walk thru the University District/UW. It seemed content, perched high above — almost camouflaged with the trees — watching the usual joggers and commuters below. There are several hawk species in the Pacific Northwest, and this one appears to be the Red-tailed Hawk.
