In Port Townsend it’s common to see deer wandering around the neighborhoods. We got into a bit of a staring contest with one of them. For tourists, they’re neat to see, but for the locals, they’re known to be more of a nuisance — causing property damage, halting traffic, and even dangerous encounters with residents.
