Gasworks Park is a popular site for tourists and locals. Located on the north side of Lake Union, visitors can enjoy the skyline view of downtown Seattle, take a stroll along the water(there’s no accesss to the water) and enjoy the open fields. Events and gatherings are also held at the park.

Once owned by the Seattle Light Gas Company, part of the gas plant still stands as a glimpse into the past, where coal was once turned into gas to power the city.
