The Salmon Return - Issaquah Fish Hatchery

duration: 1:02

After a few years in the ocean, these farmed salmon return to the Issaquah Fish Hatchery (where they started) and their eggs are collected to spawn new salmon, in which the new salmon will continue the cycle of leaving and returning. The process of farmed salmon is necessary to meet the economic demands, but also raises environmental and health concerns.
